Notable Accomplishments:
Chairs the GKC&J Workers’ Compensation Subrogation Department statewide. Defends all aspects of Workers’ Compensation Subrogation and General Civil Litigation claims, including but not limited to, the federal courts of California and Arizona. Participated in the defense of the Archdiocese of Los Angeles cases, including but not limited to: attending witness depositions, preparing jury instructions, researching/analyzing issues regarding employer/employee liability and ratification of conduct. Prior to joining GKC&J, worked as defense counsel in-house for the CNA Insurance Companies in general civil litigation matters and Workers’ Compensation Subrogation and has a broad base of experience. Fluent in Spanish, including but not limited to, reading, writing and the translation of legal documents.
