As Chairman of the Long Beach Bar Association Scholarship Program, has raised and distributed over $100,000 in college scholarship money to top high school students in Long Beach.  As an intern at the White House Office of Public Liaison in 1995, coordinated White House events with Veterans and Law Enforcement organizations.  Has also worked as a fundraiser, speechwriter, and campaign director in local, state, and national politics.

Has served as coach and referee in AYSO Local 177 and the Long Beach Parks & Rec Youth Soccer League.  Played first-base on the Alpert JCC softball team that won the 2007 Long Beach Men's Championship, and currently play forward for the Gilbert Kelly basketball team, champions of the Landau Lawyers' Basketball League.
