Advising companies on the challenges presented by the maze of laws impacting all who do business in California, especially in matters involving their employees. He has represented companies which range from small to those with a national or international presence. Drawing upon his extensive litigation experience, including numerous jury and court trials, mediations and arbitrations, Mr. McKeon is able to reach an early appraisal of the ultimate risks presented by any issue and determine the appropriate strategy that can be applied for a speedy and practical resolution.
This experience includes representing a wide array of businesses in both Federal and State courts on a wide variety of matters including commercial and consumer disputes as well as employment matters involving racial, national and ethnic discrimination, sexual harassment, gender discrimination, age discrimination, wrongful termination and wrongful termination in violation of public policy, violations of FMLA, CFRA, ADA, FEHA, Title VII, EPPA, ADEA, and on claims involving alleged hour and wage violations under FLSA and State Labor Code.
Mr. McKeon has also handled class action involving consumer legal remedies, unfair competition, overtime and other wage and hour disputes such as meal breaks, rest periods and tip pooling.
His clients cover the entire spectrum of American business, including manufacturing, trucking, the restaurant and hospitality industry, retailers and service as well as professional entities such as medical, law and accounting firms.

He is routinely called upon to present seminars in Southern California to a wide spectrum of business groups dealing with the legal challenges presented by doing business in California. Topics include litigation avoidance especially as it relates to employment discrimination/wrongful termination issues.
Mr. McKeon has addressed the Los Angeles County Grand Jury on white-collar insurance fraud, and the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Office on civil liability and insurance executives in British Columbia on the American legal system.
