Michael Douglas chairs Gilbert, Kelly, Crowley & Jennett’s Workers’ Compensation Department statewide. During his 33 years experience in all aspects of Workers’ Compensation litigation, he has provided counsel to the private sector’s various businesses, both large and small. Michael was appointed a pro tempore Workers’ Compensation Judge, and has served as an Arbitrator and as an expert in legal malpractice litigation. He has distinguished himself amongst his peers, having received an AV rating from Martindale Hubbel. He has also served as a Board Member for the Workers’ Compensation Defense Attorneys’ Association, as well as the Workers’ Compensation Section of the Los Angeles County Bar Association. He received an Honorary Teaching Certificate from the Los Angeles Unified School District for his contribution to educational programs for adolescent youth, including those of the Constitutional Rights Foundation. In addition, he has served as a panel member at various seminars to the insurance and self-insured industries in the area of Workers’ Compensation
