Reason for Becoming a Lawyer: Upon college graduation, very few jobs for philosophers, so I got a job doing air balancing at the North Slope in Alaska and decided more sedentary work was in order and went to Law School. I have been at Gilbert Kelly since starting as a law clerk and have remained here as I like the people here, the clients and the work. During the course of the last 21 years I have tried well over one hundred coverage cases and close to that many appeals, chiefly as counsel for respondent on appeal.
